Branan Lodge is a 138-unit apartment located approximately one mile north of Blairsville, Georgia near the Georgia-North Carolina border. It is only a short and easy drive from Atlanta or Chattanooga, TN. Branan Lodge affords persons the opportunity to live in a mountain setting. It is beautiful year-round with some snow in the winter and rich foliage in the summer, an ideal retirement community for those wanting the natural beauty of a mountain environment without the isolation from people and the activities of life. Branan Lodge offers spacious one and two-bedroom apartments featuring fully-equipped kitchen, bath, carpeting, roomy closets, individually controlled heating and air, central smoke alarm and sprinkler system, and private balconies. Branan Lodge accepts residents who are age 62 or older, or mobility impaired who require our accessible units. The monthly rental rate varies according to an individual's income. Branan Lodge is owned and operated by Wesley Woods, Inc., located in Atlanta. Wesley Woods operates seven residential facilities for older adults in central and north Georgia. Wesley Woods has been a leader for over 30 years in the field of aging and health, and is now affiliated with Emory Healthcare, as well as the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church.
